as i drag forward
first my left foot
then my right foot
through the sand
the sea goes back a little more


for
many days, many nights
i drag ahead

for

the sea recedes hurriedly


and thus one day
the sea reaches the sky
this is the day
the sea and the sky becomes one
this is the day
i shrug off the sand from my feet
and fly in the sky


till today
the sea has not left the sky
i know so
because i have tasted the tears in your eyes
